Spend reconciliation and profit explanation

Reconcile received ad account spend, find unmatched amounts and see how profit is calculated in the report you built.

Reconciliation shows the amounts already received and processed by the tracker. It does not fetch Meta spend again or treat a missing snapshot as zero spend.

Reconcile received spend

Open Settings → Spend → Spend reconciliation and choose up to 31 calendar days. Dates follow each advertising account's days and time zone.

Expand Ad account snapshots to see the original currency, rate, amount and receipt time. Compare amounts after conversion into the report currency; do not add different currencies directly.

Until a new snapshot is applied, or if its processing failed, allocated and unmatched amounts are shown as dashes. A previously processed amount is not presented as the result of the new snapshot.

Find unmatched spend

Unmatched spend was received from the ad account but was not associated with campaign clicks. Check the ad ID field and spend collection and the selected period. This amount is reconciled separately and is not included in individual campaigns' profit.

For example, of 19 USD received, 15 USD was allocated and 4 USD remains unmatched. With campaign revenue of 50 USD, those campaigns' profit is 35 USD. The unmatched 4 USD remains visible for separate reconciliation.

See the profit calculation

Build a report in Reports → Builder and open How profit is calculated. The formula uses revenue and spend from that report's totals. Its period, filters, attribution and time zone are preserved.

Role restrictions also remain: if the required columns are unavailable, the numeric calculation is not exposed. The explanation is not a separate calculation and does not replace the advertising account's data.
