Geo profiles

A geo profile is a named set of countries. Choose it in the GEO («Гео») condition of a stream, and the country codes appear in the values field — you do not need to type them in manually. Profiles are configured in the Geo profiles («Гео-профили») block on the Settings → Bots and GEO («Настройки → Боты и гео») tab. The owner and the admin can see the block.

Built-in profiles

The tracker has 14 built-in profiles. In the block's table they come first and are marked “Built-in” («Встроенный»). They cannot be edited or deleted.

In the panel, the full list of codes for each profile is shown in the Countries («Страны») column.

Create your own profile

1. Click the Admin panel («Админ-панель») icon in the upper right corner and open Settings → Bots and GEO. The Geo profiles block is at the bottom of the tab.
2. Enter a Name («Название»). It must not match the name of another profile, including a built-in one.
3. Type the country codes into the ISO-2 countries («Страны ISO-2») field, for example US, CA.
4. Click Add («Добавить»).

The profile appears in the table after the built-in ones. Your own profiles are sorted by name. The Add button is inactive until both fields are filled in.

Field rules:

• Name — up to 120 bytes: that is 120 Latin characters or 60 Cyrillic ones. Leading and trailing spaces are removed.
• ISO-2 countries — from 1 to 250 two-letter country codes: GB, not Great Britain or GBR. The separator is a comma, a semicolon or a space.
• The case of the codes does not matter: us is saved as US.
• Duplicates are removed on save.

Edit or delete a profile

To edit your profile:

1. Click Edit («Изменить») in the profile row. The name and countries appear in the fields above the table.
2. Correct the name or the list of countries.
3. Click Save («Сохранить»).

The Cancel («Отмена») button clears the fields without saving.

To delete your profile:

1. Click Delete («Удалить») in the profile row.
2. Confirm the question “Delete the profile ‘…’? Stream filters that are already saved will keep their countries.” («Удалить профиль «…»? Уже сохранённые фильтры потоков сохранят свои страны.»)

Insert a profile into a stream condition

Anyone who edits the campaign's streams can choose a profile. The list contains both built-in and custom profiles.

1. Open the campaign on the Streams («Потоки») tab.
2. Click + Stream («+ Поток») or the gear button on the stream card.
3. Go to the Filters («Фильтры») tab.
4. Click + Condition («+ Условие») — a row with the GEO field appears. If there is already a GEO condition, work with it.
5. Choose a profile in the Geo profile… («Гео-профиль…») list next to the values field. The list items look like “exUSSR (15)”: the name and the number of countries.
6. Click Save stream («Сохранить поток»).

The Geo profile… list exists only for a condition with the GEO field. The profile's countries are added to the ones already entered, without duplicates. You can choose several profiles in a row — the sets add up. Remove extra codes from the field manually.

Check

After saving, a label like “GEO: US, CA” («Гео: US, CA») with the condition's country codes appears on the stream card. To find out which stream a visitor from a given country will get, click Check stream («Проверить поток») on the Streams tab — see Stream selection check.

Profile and stream are not linked

When you choose a profile, the country codes are copied into the condition. The stream stores a regular list and does not remember which profile filled it.

• Editing a profile does not change streams that are already saved.
• After a profile is deleted, stream filters keep their countries.
• To get the new contents of a profile into a stream, open the stream settings and choose the profile again. Remove countries that are no longer in the profile from the field manually.

Error messages

The message is shown in red text under the description of the Geo profiles block.

Enter a name and from 1 to 250 countries («Укажите название и от 1 до 250 стран»)

The name is longer than allowed, the ISO-2 countries field contains only separators without codes, or there are more than 250 codes. Shorten the name or fix the list of countries.

Countries are set with two-letter ISO codes («Страны задаются двухбуквенными ISO-кодами»)

The list contains a value the tracker did not recognize as a country code: a full name, a three-letter code, digits, or a letter combination that is not among the country codes. Keep only two-letter codes, for example DE instead of Germany or DEU.

The built-in profile name is reserved («Название встроенного профиля зарезервировано»)

The name matches one of the 14 built-in profiles. Letter case is ignored in the comparison. Choose a different name.

The name is already taken («Название уже занято»)

A profile with this name is already in the table. Choose a different name or edit the existing profile.

The profile no longer exists: it was deleted in another tab or by another admin. Reload the page.
