Affiliate networks

An affiliate network in the tracker is a record with a name and a postback address that you enter in that network's account. You choose the network in an offer, and its name is available in the {affiliate_network_name} macro.

The Networks («Сети») section is in the left menu; on a phone it is under More → Networks («Ещё → Сети»). Every role except the financier can see it. Only the owner and the admin can create and delete networks: other roles do not have the + Network («+ Сеть») and ✕ buttons.

What the section contains

• The Conversion postback URL («URL постбэка приёма конверсий») block — the general postback address not tied to any network, see Incoming postback.
• A table of networks with the Name («Название») and Postback URL («URL постбэка») columns. For a network from the catalog, a For the offer link («В ссылку оффера») line under the name shows the parameters for the offer link.

Creating a network from the catalog

The catalog has 333 affiliate network templates. A template fills in the name, the postback parameters and the parameters for the offer link. The catalog contents and search rules are on the Catalog of source and network templates page.

1. Open Networks.
2. Click + Network; on a phone, tap the + button at the bottom of the screen. The Create network («Создать сеть») window opens.
3. Click the Affiliate network template («Шаблон партнёрской сети») field.
4. Type part of the name into the Search by name… («Найти по названию…») line.
5. Choose the network in the list. The Name and Postback parameters («Параметры постбэка») fields are filled in from the template, and the finished address appears in the Final postback URL («Итоговый URL постбэка») block.
6. Read the note under the template field if one appears.
7. Change the Name if you need a different one.
8. Click Create («Создать»).

The new network appears first in the table.

Template notes

Some templates show a note under the selection field. It contains one or more instructions:

Replace the placeholders in the address when you paste it into the network's account. If you change the Postback parameters field in the creation window, the template selection resets to Custom template («Свой шаблон»), and the network is created without parameters for the offer link. Creating a network manually

1. Click + Network.
2. Leave Custom template selected in the Affiliate network template field.
3. Enter a Name. While the field is empty, the Create button is inactive.
4. Fill in Postback parameters or leave the field empty. The finished address is shown below, in the Final postback URL block.
5. Click Create.

A network created manually has no parameters for the offer link.

How the postback URL is built

The Postback parameters field takes a string that starts with ? or &. The first character determines how the tracker builds the address. The affiliate network replaces the macros in the address. The subid, status, payout and txid parameters are explained on the Incoming postback page.

Additional parameters: first character &

The tracker takes the general address and appends your parameters to the end. The string &sub_id_7={email} gives:

If your parameters already include txid or tid, the tracker does not add &txid={txid}.

Full template: first character ?

The tracker puts your string in place of the standard parameters. The string ?subid={sub1}&status={status}&payout={amount} gives:

All catalog templates are full templates.

Empty field

The network's address is the same as the general address in the Conversion postback URL block.

Pasting the address into the network's account

1. In the network's row, click copy («копировать») in the Postback URL column. The button label changes to “✓”. On a phone, the button is labeled copy («копир.»).
2. Paste the address into the postback settings in the affiliate network's account.
3. Replace the REPLACE placeholders if the address has any.
4. Replace {click_id}, {status}, {payout} and {txid} with the network's macros if they are still in the address.

If the network has no transaction ID macro, remove &txid={txid} from the address — see Transaction ID.

Attaching a network to an offer

The network returns the click ID in the postback only if it receives it in the offer link. For a network from the catalog the right parameter is known, for example sub1={subid}.

1. Open Offers («Офферы»).
2. Click + Offer («+ Оффер») or the offer's name in the list.
3. In the Affiliate network («Партнёрская сеть») field, choose the network. By default — no network — («— без сети —») is selected.
4. Paste the offer link. Only an external offer has a link field.
5. Click Add the selected network's parameters («Добавить параметры выбранной сети») under the link field.
6. Click Create offer («Создать оффер») in the creation window or Save («Сохранить») in the editing window.

The button appends only the parameters the link does not have yet: https://offer.example.com/lp becomes https://offer.example.com/lp?sub1={subid}. It appears when the selected network has parameters for the offer link, and it works with a link that starts with http:// or https://.

For a network created manually, add the parameter with the {subid} macro to the link yourself. The other offer fields are described on the Offers page, and the list of macros on the Macros in links and pages page.

Editing and deleting a network

A network cannot be edited in the panel once created. You can change the name and the postback parameters with an API request — see Admin API: affiliate networks. Another way is to delete the network, create it again and choose the new network in your offers.

1. In the network's row, click ✕.
2. Confirm the Delete network “…”? («Удалить сеть «…»?») prompt.

The network is deleted immediately and does not go to the trash. Offers in which it was selected stay and keep receiving traffic: their Affiliate network field shows — no network —, and the {affiliate_network_name} macro becomes empty. The tracker keeps accepting postbacks sent to the address already entered in the network's account.

If something went wrong

If the window did not close after you clicked Create, the network was not created. The error text is shown on the Networks page above the table, behind the window.

Template catalog unavailable («Каталог шаблонов недоступен»)

The catalog did not load. Refresh the page. While the catalog is unavailable, you can only create a network with the Custom template option.

Network template not found or outdated («Шаблон сети не найден или устарел»)

The selected template is not in the tracker's catalog: the page was opened long ago, and the tracker has been updated since then. Refresh the page and choose the template again.

Postback must contain parameters after ? or & («Постбек должен содержать параметры после ? или &»)

The string in the Postback parameters field does not start with ? or &. Make ? the first character for a full template or & for additional parameters.

Invalid postback parameters («Некорректные параметры постбека»)

The parameter string contains a ; character or a % character not followed by two hexadecimal digits. Remove the ; and check the codes after %.

Invalid network name or parameters («Некорректное название или параметры сети»)

The name is longer than 200 bytes: that is 200 Latin characters or 100 Cyrillic ones. Shorten the name.
