Click card: path, conversions, deliveries

What each block of the click card shows: links, click parameters, transitions from the landing page, conversions and event delivery.

The click card shows the path of one click on a single screen: what it is linked to, which landing page transitions and conversions are recorded for it, and which events were sent to recipients. It opens in the Logs («Логи») section, on the Clicks and leads («Клики и лиды») tab. Owners and admins can see the section.

Opening the card

There are four ways:

  • Logs → Clicks and leads — find the click and click its subid in the Subid column. How to search is covered on the Click and lead search page.
  • Logs → Event delivery («Логи → Доставка событий») — click the subid in the Click («Клик») column.
  • The click window in the campaign statistics — the Click, conversions and deliveries → («Клик, конверсии и доставки →») button.
  • The direct address https://panel.example.com/logs?click=SUBID, where SUBID is the full subid of the click.

The card looks for the click across the whole stored history; the search period doesn't apply to it. Opening the card doesn't send anything to recipients.

The card header holds the subid and two buttons:

  • ← Back to search («← К поиску») — opens click search on the Clicks and leads tab. If the card was opened by clicking a subid in the Logs section, the browser's Back button returns you there too.
  • Refresh card («Обновить карточку») — re-reads the click, transitions, conversions and deliveries.

Five cells show what the click is linked to. The name in a cell is a link.

CellWhat it showsWhere the link leads
Source («Источник»)The campaign's traffic source at the time of the clickThe Sources («Источники») section
Campaign («Кампания»)The campaign whose link the click came toThat campaign's page
Stream («Поток»)The stream the tracker selected for the clickThat campaign's page
Landing page («Лендинг»)The landing page the stream selected for the clickThe Landing pages («Лендинги») section
Offer («Оффер»)The click's offer. If the visitor went on from a landing page, this is the offer of their first transitionThe Offers («Офферы») section

Below the cells is the line “Links are taken from events. Names are current; deleted objects show their ID.” («Связи взяты из событий. Названия — текущие; у удалённых объектов показан ID.») This means:

  • the link is recorded together with the click and doesn't change when you edit the stream or the campaign;
  • the current name is shown: after you rename an offer, the card of an old click shows the new name;
  • a deleted stream or source shows its ID instead of a name. An offer or landing page in the trash and an archived campaign are shown with their names;
  • “—” in a cell means the click has no such link: for example, the campaign has no source selected, or the stream leads without a landing page.

The Click block

RowValue
Time («Время»)The click time
Time zone («Часовой пояс»)Your browser's time zone. All times in the card are shown in it
IPThe visitor's IP address
External IDThe click ID on the source's side — the value of the external_id slot, see Source tokens and link parameters
GEOThe country code, region and city
Device («Устройство»)The device type, operating system and browser
Click cost («Расход клика»)The cost of this click in USD, with four decimal places. How it's calculated is covered on the Campaign cost models page
Quality («Качество»)Unique («Уникальный») or Repeat («Повторный») — according to the campaign's uniqueness. For a click that the tracker identified as a bot, “· bot” («· бот») is added

An empty value is shown as “—”.

The card doesn't include the cloaking decision, User Agent, Referer, provider or connection type. They're shown in the click window in the campaign statistics. How to read the cloaking decision is covered on the Diagnostics: why a click went to “white” page.

The Transitions and form block

The first line of the block shows whether the tracker received form data for this click:

  • “Form data updated: …” («Данные формы обновлены: …») with a date and time — the tracker saved the lead's contact data. The time of the last save is shown.
  • “Form data submission not registered. The conversion may have arrived separately by postback.” («Отправка данных формы не зарегистрирована. Конверсия могла прийти отдельно постбеком.») — there's no form data for the click. There may still be a conversion: the affiliate network sends it by postback.

The contacts themselves — email, phone, name — aren't shown in the card. They're shown in the Lead data («Данные лида») block of the click window, see Receiving leads from forms.

Below is the list of transitions from the landing page to the offer, from first to last. Each transition has a time and a “landing page → offer” pair. Several rows mean that the visitor clicked the offer link several times. How this link works is covered on the From landing page to offer and multi-offer page.

  • “No transitions from the landing page registered” («Переходов с лендинга не зарегистрировано») — the visitor didn't go from the landing page to the offer, or the stream led without a landing page.
  • “The first 200 transitions are shown.” («Показаны первые 200 переходов.») — there are more than 200 transitions; the rest aren't shown in the card.

The Conversions block

The block caption reads “The latest state of each transaction across the whole stored history.” («Последнее состояние каждой транзакции за всю сохранённую историю.») One row is one transaction. If the network first sent a lead and then a sale for the same ID, the table has one row with the Sale («Продажа») status. All postbacks for the click without a transaction ID are also one row, see Postback without txid.

ColumnWhat it shows
Last event («Последнее событие»)The time of the transaction's last change
Status («Статус»)Lead («Лид»), Sale, Rejected («Отклонено») or Pending («Ожидание»). Any other status is shown as it was recorded. How network statuses are reduced to these four is covered in Conversion types
Transaction («Транзакция»)The transaction ID from the postback. “No txid” («Без txid») means the postback came without an ID
OfferThe offer the conversion is recorded under
Revenue, USD («Доход, USD»)The payout for the transaction in USD

New transactions are at the top. “No conversions” («Конверсий нет») means no conversions were recorded for the click. “The last 200 transactions are shown.” («Показаны последние 200 транзакций.») means there are more than 200 transactions; older ones aren't shown in the card.

The Event delivery block

A table with the caption “All stored deliveries of this click. Recipients' secrets are hidden.” («Все сохранённые доставки этого клика. Секреты получателей скрыты.») It contains the recording of each conversion in the statistics and each outgoing delivery: an S2S postback and a Facebook Conversions API event. The recipient's address and the request contents aren't shown.

The table is the same as on the Logs → Event delivery tab, with three differences:

  • there are no filters and no period limit — all deliveries of the click are shown;
  • there's no Click column;
  • the Refresh («Обновить») button re-reads only this table, while Refresh card re-reads the whole card.

The Created («Создано»), Type / recipient («Тип / получатель»), State («Состояние»), Attempts («Попытки») and Result («Результат») columns, their values and the Retry («Повторить») button are covered on the Event delivery log page. There are 100 rows per page, newest at the top. Page through them with the ← Back («← Назад») and Next → («Далее →») buttons. If the click has no deliveries, the table shows the row “No deliveries for the selected period” («Доставок за выбранный период нет»).

Warning.

Before you click Retry, check the event with the recipient. If they have already accepted it, the recipient may get a duplicate.

The Click parameters block

The block is collapsed. Click the Click parameters («Параметры клика») heading to expand it. Inside are two “name — value” lists:

  • Sub ID — click parameters whose name starts with sub_id: the values of the sub_id_1 … sub_id_30 slots.
  • Tokens («Токены») — all click parameters: link parameters under their own names, default values from the campaign, and source token values under the slot name and under the token name. The parameters from the Sub ID list are here too.

How link parameters get into slots is covered on the Source tokens and link parameters page.

Values that may contain a Facebook access token are replaced with ***:

  • parameters named token, access_token, capi_token and sub_id_12;
  • any value that starts with EAA.

Only the display in the panel is hidden. The tracker passes the real value in the Facebook Conversions API event.

If something went wrong

Click not found («Клик не найден»)

There is no click with this subid in your workspace. Check that the subid was copied in full, without extra characters. Clicks are stored for 18 months — see Retention periods. The card of an older click won't open, even if its rows remain on the Event delivery tab.

Invalid subid («Некорректный subid»)

The value after click= in the address can't be a subid. A subid is up to 64 characters: Latin letters, digits, _, - and dots (not at the start or end, and not two in a row).

Analytics unavailable («Аналитика недоступна»)

The tracker couldn't read the click data. The message “internal error” in place of the card blocks means the same.

  1. Click Refresh card.
  2. If the message is still there, check the services on the System status page.

The conversion is in the affiliate network, but the card says “No conversions”

The tracker didn't record a conversion for this click. The checking steps are in the Conversion didn't appear section.

There is a conversion, but no S2S row in Event delivery

An S2S delivery is created only if a source or campaign postback was configured at the time of the conversion and the status is among those that are sent. Details: Event delivery log.
